Koalakare provides disability services
KoalaKare is a registered Melbourne-based disability service provider focused on growing the accessibility of NDIS support services. Our company strives to be a leader in the healthcare community, so we can increase our service area. We understand each participant has unique needs and we shall aim to find the most suited support worker to fit each case. Our support workers believe in the company’s values and show it through their work with NDIS participants.
We hire support workers that believe in our company’s values and goals. To ensure we provide our participants with high-quality care, support workers are thoroughly background-checked before being hired. We care about the welfare of our participants and take all steps necessary to make sure they have the care they need.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help NDIS participants lead independent lives while achieving their goals. Not only do we help participants, but we also lessen the burden on their families. Family members are often the main support for the participant which can be difficult. We want families to count on us when they need help providing support to the participant. Other goals we achieve through our disability services include:
- KoalaKare uses best practices and methods to increase our participants' independence and skills like matching participants with suitable support workers. We choose support workers based on the participant’s needs and who would fit best to help individuals achieve their goals
- We want NDIS participants to have access to our services. Our support is customized based on the participant’s needs and goals. No matter the level of support they need, we create new, efficient ways for participants to get the care they need.
- We walk NDIS participants and families through how their core supports will be implemented. We help determine which services would best fit their goals and increase the participant’s independence. If changes occur, we work to adjust the supports.
- Our participants are treated with the respect and kindness they deserve. This allows participants to feel comfortable and take on different challenges they have due to their disability.
